Connect AWS

Connect your AWS account to a Bluebricks collection using a CloudFormation stack and Role ARN.

Prerequisites

• An active AWS account

• A collection created in Bluebricks (create one first)

Step 1: Create the IAM Role via CloudFormation

1. Download the Bluebricks CloudFormation template

2. In the AWS Console, search for CloudFormation and open it

3. Click Create stack → With new resources (standard)

4. Select Upload a template file, choose the file you downloaded, and click Next

5. Give the stack a name and click Next

6. Acknowledge the required checkboxes at the bottom and click Next

7. Review and click Submit

8. Once the stack is created, go to its Outputs tab and copy the RoleArn value and Stack ID

Step 2: Connect in the Bluebricks App

1. Open app.bluebricks.co/collections

2. Click Connect Cloud on the collection you want to link to AWS

3. Select AWS as the cloud provider

4. Choose an existing account number or click New Account

5. Enter the Role ARN ID and CloudFormation Stack ID from Step 1

6. Click Connect & Create

# List all connected cloud accounts
bricks clouds ls

# List including inactive
bricks clouds ls --all

# Remove a cloud account
bricks clouds delete --slug <slug>
