Connect AWS

Connect your AWS account to Bluebricks via the web interface to enable infrastructure deployment and management.

Prerequisites

• AWS account with appropriate permissions

• Bluebricks account

• Access to AWS IAM console

Connection Process

Cloud account connection is managed through the Bluebricks web interface.

Step 1: Create IAM User

1. Log into AWS Console

2. Navigate to IAM service

3. Create new IAM user with programmatic access

4. Attach required policies (EC2, VPC, CloudFormation, etc.)

Step 2: Configure in Bluebricks

1. Open Bluebricks dashboard at https://app.bluebricks.co

2. Navigate to Cloud Accounts section

3. Click "Add Cloud Account"

4. Select AWS provider

5. Enter AWS credentials (Access Key ID and Secret Access Key)

6. Test and save connection

Step 3: List Connected Accounts

# List all cloud accounts
bricks clouds ls

# List all including inactive
bricks clouds ls --all

Required AWS Permissions

• EC2 full access

• VPC management

• IAM role creation

• CloudFormation access

• Additional services as needed for your deployments

Managing Cloud Accounts

# List cloud accounts
bricks clouds ls

# Delete cloud account
bricks clouds delete --slug <slug>
